The Challenge
Every roll of film leaving the warehouse needs a correct serial label. Preparing labels by hand meant retyping serials and order details, which is slow and easy to get wrong.
What I Built
Label Station has its own label designer. When a serial is scanned in the partner portal, the app fills that serial and its order data into the design and prints straight away, with a live monitor of what is waiting, printing and printed.
Results
- Labels print the moment a serial is scanned, with no retyping
- Serial numbers and order data always match the portal
- A live monitor shows every label waiting, printing and printed
